Direction in Kiel 

• By car:
  If you are traveling by car from the South you should travel north on the A7 highway and exit at the Bordesholm interchange taking the A215 to Kiel-Zentrum. From the North approaching along the A7 highway exit at the Rendsburg interchange and take the A210 to Kiel-Zentrum. Then from Kiel-Zentrum, follow the signs for the Hauptbahnhof (Main Train Station) and drive along the banks of the Firth of Kiel until you reach the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, Kiel Campus.

• By bus:
  It's easy to get to the campus by bus. The bus lines 32, 33, 61 or 62 bring you directly to the bus stop Uni-Kliniken or Hospitalstraße. The bus lines 32 and 61 do not run on weekends. The best way to get to the Pediatric Unit is to take either the number 41, 42 or 43 buses as far as the bus stop called Schwanenweg.
• By train:
  If you are traveling by train you can travel as far as Kiel Hauptbahnhof (Kiel Main Train Station) and then take the bus lines 32, 33, 61 or 62 to the bus stops Uni-Kliniken or Hospitalstraße.
• By plane:
  The Medical Center is roughly a one hour car journey away from the International Airport of Hamburg. There is also a special airport bus service called Kielius, which travels between Hamburg Airport and Kiel Train Station approximately once an hour. If you have organized your stay with the assistance of the International Department of the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein you will be collected from the airport.
