Daily Routine at our Medical Center
You will doubtless have questions regarding the daily routines, visiting hours, rest periods, departure regulations and house rules of the clinic. The International Department and the nursing staff on your ward will happily answer these questions for you. The daily routine is arranged differently on the various wards. For this reason, the following represents only an example of a day in one of our wards:
- 6:30 a.m.
Wake up, morning rituals and, according to the patient and ailment, blood sugar monitoring, taking of blood samples, injections, etc. - 7:30 a.m.
Breakfast is served; you have the option of assembling your meals beforehand from a diverse menu. Doctors' rounds and diagnostic/therapeutic procedures are carried out in the morning. - 12:00 p.m.
Lunch is served. - 12:30 - 2:00 p.m.
Midday rest. Use this time to get some sleep - it promotes your recovery. - 2:30 p.m.
The staff brings coffee, tea or a drink of your choice. The afternoon provides ample time to receive visitors. - 5:30 p.m.
Dinner is served. - 10:00 p.m.
Lights-out. This rest period is important for your health and promotes your well-being.
Visiting Hours
Visiting hours are handled differently according to clinic and ward. Afternoon is the best time to receive visitors.
On some wards it is also possible to receive visitors between dinner and lights-out. Be sure to keep your roommate's comfort in mind should you receive visitors during this time.
Please discuss specific visiting hours regulations for your ward with the International Department or the nursing staff.
