Diagnostic and treatment center of blood coagulation disorders of the University Clinics Schleswig-Holstein – Campuses in Kiel and Lübeck - is a facility of the Institute of Clinical Chemistry. Here, imaging methods for clarifying the vascular situation and a comprehensive portfolio of laboratory methods are available.
Regular training courses in coagulation self-management with the CoaguChek® systems are offered at both sites for patients cared for at the center. The authorization for further training to obtain the additional training in hemostaseology for the complete training period (12 months) is available across the campus.
Diagnostic and treatment center of blood coagulation disorders also cooperates closely with other departments of the hospital, such as orthopedics, gynecology, dental clinic, and oral and maxillofacial surgery, in both the outpatient and inpatient areas.
