As Graphical Abstracts become more and more popular and are often requested, we and the Kiel Science Communication Network (KielSCN) would like to offer you an online lunchtime-workshop on “Graphical Abstracts”, held in English!
Like the USCA Kick-Off Workshop in 2024, this workshop will serve as a foundation and preparation for the UCCSH Science Communication Award (USCA). The USCA is traditionally awarded during the UCCSH Research Retreat for the best graphic abstract in the categories “Scientific Community" and "Public" and thus forms the conclusion of the first day of the Research Retreat. The prize money of €250 will again be awarded to applicants from Kiel and Lübeck. This year's 4th UCCSH Research Retreat will take place in Bad Segeberg on September 12th and 13th, 2025.
The call for UCSA applications is linked right here: https://www.uksh.de/uccsh/usca.html - Deadline: July 13th, 2025
Your graphical abstract should belong to one of the five UCCSH’s research programs or Health Care Research. Please choose which target group you want to address. You can find further information in the mentioned link.
This Lunchtime-Workshop will also benefit applicants from Kiel, Lübeck and Hamburg who plan to apply for active participation in the NORD-Workshop "Precision Oncology" on July 16th, 2025 in Lübeck. The invitation for the workshop will be sent out next week.
This year, we are very happy about the support of the KielSCN in organizing the workshop, as well as their support of the USCA up to the Research Retreat!
