Autoimmune bullous diseases are a heterogeneous group of about a dozen potentially life-threatening disorders affecting the skin and/or surface-close mucous membranes.
The by far most frequent of these diseases is bullous pemphigoid followed by mucous membrane pemphigoid and pemphigus.
The Centre for Autoimmune Bullous Dermatoses is situated in the Department of Dermatology, UKSH, Campus Lübeck, and covers all aspects of these disorders including diagnosis, out- and in-patients care, clinical studies, and research. In our centre, experts on different fields are working together for an optimal care of patients with blistering disorders.
We have an extensive record of treating patients from outside of Germany. Generally, the same care is provided for all patients irrespective of their country of residence. For international patients, however, treatment costs have to be granted either by guarantee of the respective embassy or in advance cash payment.
Please do not hesitate to contact us for further enquiries.
