Our course year got off to an early start with a German-speaking standard training course from 24th - 26th January. The course focused on access techniques, safety steps, adnexal surgery as well as diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy.
In tried-and tested fashion, the morning sessions alternated between attendance at live laparoscopic surgery and discussion of the operations with short lectures. In the afternoon sessions emphasis was placed on personalized training at the laparoscopy and hysteroscopy trainers. The participants had abundant opportunity to put their newly acquired knowledge into practice and train their skills on models and animal organs.
