Our last training course of the year is traditionally a German-speaking basic training course in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery. Twelve young, enthusiastic gynaecologists took part in the course and took full advantage of the excellent training facilities at the Kiel School.
The course ran according to our well-tried and tested training programme with attendance at live surgery in the morning sessions followed by personalized training at the laparoscopy and hysteroscopy trainers in the afternoon sessions. The participants had abundant opportunity to practise and implement the new insights obtained in the live surgery sessions on models and animal organs. Lectures and in-depth discussions rounded out the programme.
