Dear colleagues,
in the last 20 years non-invasive ventilation has become more and more popular. This trend promoted the search for new techniques also to deliver surfactant to spontaneously breathing preterm infants with respiratory distress syndrome.
The second international workshop on Less Invasive second Surfactant Administration (LISA II) brings together experts from all over the world that have contributed to this concept.
The medieval town of Lübeck will hopefully be an inspiring venue for fruitful discussions on topics like:
Where does LISA come from?
Where are we now?
Where will LISA move in the future?
We are grateful to all speakers from the faculty and acknowledge and the contribution of the sponsors that made this meeting possible. Due to the pandemic we will make use of a digital format as well. This will allow the participation of colleagues that still suffer from travel restrictions.
